Soldier Promotions
If you are in a squad with no High Command officers, a fellow Squad Leader, Sub Officer, or "Major" soldier in your squad must nominate you for the new rank. The Nominator holds a council with the High Command, and an evaluation is held for the Nominee. Finally, a vote is held between the High Command, the Squad Leader, and any officers or Major soldiers in the Nominee's squad. If the majority votes in the nominee's favor, the promotion is passed, and the new title is put in effect.
Sub-Officer Promotions
A Squad Leader may appoint a soldier, whether Major or Minor, to act as a Sub-Officer in his/her existing squad. However, the soldier that is requested to be a Sub-Officer must give his/her consent before officially taking on that title and may decline the offer.
Squad Leader Promotions
A Squad Leader can promote a Sub-Officer to be an independent Squad Leader, transferring some of his/her own soldiers to the Sub-Officer's command. Alternatively, an individual who recruits at least two people to the clan may become a Squad Leader, with command over those that he/she recruits.
